To make these pieces of concept arts I used Adobe Animate and Krita since I had problems with Adobe Animate.
For my concept art, I thought a bunch about it and was gonna make weapons, monsters, and people. Something that inspired my concept art is going to the zoo and another thing that inspired me with the fantasy theme is the game Dnd (Dungeons and dragons). One of the characters that I made was called Caticus which is a massive cat that looks evil and is meant to be a god. I thought to have a massive cat as a god was unique since they are thought to be cute animals also this cat stands on his 2 legs.
I thought with the color scheme to go quite dark to and the give the view to make it more intimidating, I think also as well as that but the similar features to humans that Caticus has, like the 8 pack and the way the muscles are and the way that its paw is. I think another thing that makes it look intimidating is the teeth and the eyes because of the bright contrast.
For the next bit of concept art that I did was a human face with a evil
looking eye. I did this piece of concept art and then it got lost so i had
to do it again. The first time that it was done it looked a lot better as the second one was a recreation and unfortunately, I don't have the first picture but I have the second one.
This concept art style based of one of my pictures from the zoo and the picture of the animal its face looked really vicious and I tried to replicate that but a human face instead I think it turned out well.
Another piece of concept art that I made was based on some bats that I saw and took pictures of and when they were upside down then wings that were around them made it looked like they had a human head. So I imagined the bats if they were humans with wings. And I thought to keep them really small I could make the person in the drawing a dwarf so that is what I did. I tried to keep this really simple and I tried to add some simple effects with some lines on the legs to make it look like they are bent.
This piece of concept art is an eye with a spy in the middle and the card is called eye spy the reason why it was gonna be called that is that of the effect that the card was gonna have. So this card was gonna be based around the effect that is gonna be to look at one of your opponent's cards at random for a few seconds or either have it so that it stays face up for the round that you use that card and if it has an effect you would be able to read it.
This concept art that I was making I had trouble naming whether to call it Ancient spear or to well equipped, this was due to the effect of the card. The card was going to allow a card to be used on a card used a turn earlier.
For this piece of concept art I, went for a jungle theme this was inspired by the pictures that I took at the zoo. Specifically the Amazon area because of all the animals, environment and the heat. it was really realistic and it felt like being in a jungle and I wanted to create that wild look but for a game board. Something else that I looked at for inspiration for this piece of concept art is the game Hearthstone and I looked at there board designs, because in the game they have different interactions and different settings for the game boards.
Audio Planning
For my Audio I'm planning to use a free software called LMMS. The reason why I am choosing to use this software is that it's really good in terms of quality and the free sounds that they offer for you to make songs. They give you over 100 sounds as well as this you can import your own sounds. The software allows you to add change the notes of a sound and then are many effects to add to each sound. For a free program, it offers a lot and is compared to fruity loops studio which is an industry standard program.
I'm planning on looking online for some packs that I could use that are more specific and are more tuned to what sounds I am looking for. The main that I am looking for is a good electrical bass since the program has really good snares and instruments in general. I did some experimentation on different electrical basses to see what different sounds I could get out of them.
